Message from the Headteacher
Dear Parents, Carers and Children,
What a busy couple of weeks it has been at St. Peter's! We have had lots of sports, with girls football competition, a tenpin bowling competition, a netball match, an American Football match, a Basketball competition, a Badminton taster session, Year 3 & 4 Futsal tournament and our Year 5 & 6 boys football team coming Runners Up at the Wigan Kids' Cup! Some of our Year 6 children have also had the opportunity to attend an Advanced Writing workshop, and some of our children also cheered Sir Kevin Sinfield on in his marathon challenge! Our Year 3 & 4 children have also had an exciting day learning all about the Stone Age with their visitor teaching them all about our ancestors.
We love being able to provide so many opportunities for our children to experience different sports and activities, alongside our learning in the classrooms. A big thank you to our staff who make these opportunities happen, and to our families who always turn out in numbers to support the children! Thank you for your continued support
Kind regards,
Stephen Eccles
Headteacher
